Below are some things to consider when setting up artwork for print.
Colour Profile
Please make sure all images are CMYK not RGB to avoid unexpected colour prints, as our workflow will convert your colour profile to CMYK.
Bleed
Remember all jobs with a solid colour or image that should go to the edge of the page need 3mm of extra image past the actual edges of the document, on all sides.
The 3mm bleed will ensure there are no white areas left at the sides of your design.
File Formats
PDF is our preferred file format, saved to PDF/x-1a, with crop marks and bleed included.
We also accept artwork in the following formats:
- Adobe InDesign
- Illustrator
- Microsoft Word
Supplying Artwork
We have several ways for you to supply us with your artwork – you can:
- WeTransfer
- Send us a disk
- Email us
- send a USB stick
- use our FTP site (or yours and provide a link) or use XMF Remote.
