B&D Print Services has been printing in Lancashire since 1976. Founded by Byron and Denis, the business is still family-run today with Byron at the helm, employing over 30 people across litho, digital, design, mailing and finishing at our purpose-built Leyland factory.
Half a century in commercial print has taught us where to invest and where to hold steady. Presses, software and finishing kit are upgraded on a regular cycle. The people, the customer relationships going back twenty years and more, and the standard of finished print leaving the building stay constant.
Today's operation runs 24 hours a day from a 10,000 sq ft factory. Two Heidelberg Speedmaster XL75 litho presses handle high-volume and colour-critical work alongside a Canon imagePRESS V1350 for short-run colour and variable data, with all finishing, binding, mailing and design done under one roof.
Every customer gets a dedicated account manager who knows the brand, the stocks and the deadline. Customers include the NHS, Booths, University of Lancashire and Lancashire County Council, many going back twenty years and more, alongside Royal Mail, who chose B&D to print the Olympic Gold Medal stamps in 2012.
Our in-house design studio has worked alongside the presses for over 30 years, covering print, web, vehicle livery and signage from artwork preparation through to full rebrands.
Quality and environmental systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, alongside FSC accreditation.
Fifty years on, the focus has not changed: quality print, practical support, and a team who have been getting it right since 1976.
