This is how B&D collect information from you when you use our Services:

Web Beacon.

Pages of our Services and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs. pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit us to, for example, count users who have visited a page or opened an e-mail.

B&D have no influence on the scope of data that is collected by the social networks through their buttons. The data use policies of the social networks provide information on the purpose and extent of the data that they collect, how this data is processed and used, the rights available to you and the settings that you can use to protect your privacy.

What We Do with the Information We Collect

B&D will only use and disclose your Personal Information for the purpose for which you have provided it to us as determined at the time of collection or through your subsequent consent, including:

  • Providing you with information, products or services that you request from us;
  • Managing our business operations (e.g., customer relationship management (CRM) system, opt-in marketing database, customer service and support system);
  • Fulfilling any other purpose for which you provide the Personal Information;

B&D will retain your Personal Information for as long as needed based on the purpose for which you have authorised us to use it.

The Places That We Store This Information

B&D use the following third-party processors: MailChimp (for email campaigns). Processors will only process the data as instructed by B&D and are not allowed to process the data any further than necessary for the Purpose for which it was collected. In the event of any transfer outside of the European Economic Area/EU, such transfers take place in accordance with applicable European Union data protection rules under security conditions enabling the protection of the Personal Information.

In addition, some of the Services are served by third-parties. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Services. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online service. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioural) advertising or other targeted content. We do not track you over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Therefore, we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. How to Access, Correct, and Object to Processing of Your Information

We aim to keep Personal Information accurate and up to date.
